In general, a pneumatic valve is a device that controls the flow of air in a pneumatic system. A pneumatic valve controls the air at the source and regulates its passage as needed into the tubing or pipe.
Pneumatic control valves have to control the flow of compressed air, and they need to control the flow of exhaust into the atmosphere. Pneumatic control valves decrease pressure with the help of actuators and positioners with a controller to guide them.
Pneumatic control valves are widely used in many industries and are differentiated by the signal that controls them. The three signals are Electromagnetic pneumatic valves, Pneumatically operated valves, and Mechanical pneumatic valves.
