Shock Absorbers
Shock absorbers reduce the speed of loads smoothly and securely using the least possible force and in the shortest time, enabling significantly higher cycle times in automated operations. The moving load is smoothly and gently brought to rest by a constant resisting force throughout the entire shock absorber stroke. A shock absorber consists of a cylinder with a sliding piston, and the cylinder is filled with air that has high energy storage capacity.
A Shock absorber works by converting the kinetic energy of the shock into heat which is then dissipated. It works by using compressed air under pressure to provide a damping effect and can be placed externally to absorb loads helping to ensure trouble-free operations.
