ROTEX Taper Clamping Sleeve Jaw Couplings
We offer 0-12,500 Nm ROTEX Flexible Jaw Coupling with Taper Clamping Sleeves. The compact design of these elastomer couplings, when combined with the slide fit, makes the assembly and axial alignment of the flexible shaft coupling easier. The clamping screws that are used additionally, guarantee friction connection by a positive-locking fit.
They can be mounted both horizontally and vertically and ensure torsional vibration-damping power transmission absorbing shocks generating irregularly operating machines. Their flexible teeth are subjected to systematic stress only. One of their advantages is that they can withstand significantly higher loads.
Construction
ROTEX shaft Couplings consist of two hubs (aluminum or steel) and a spider, (elastomer ring/cam ring) made of T-PUR. They require limited mounting space, ensuring easy assembly and disassembly.
The elastomer material T-PUR of these jaw couplings is resistant to higher temperatures ensuring a sustainable lifespan in comparison with common polyurethane. From a visual perspective, the couplings come with orange (92 Shore A), purple (98 Shore A), and light green (64 Shore D) colors.
