Leuze Capacitive Sensors measure capacitance which is the ability to store an electric charge. They are used to detect the presence or absence of a solid, liquid, or granular object, measure the distance between the sensor and object, or define the level of liquid, among other applications.
Due to their specialized design, these sensors can detect fill levels in liquids or bulk materials, whether in direct contact with the medium or through non-metallic container walls.
Capacitive Sensor's design allows them to be suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions like extremely dusty and dirty atmospheres, as well as in all areas of application in industrial automation.
