Mayr ROBA-contitorque Torque Limiters

The ROBA-contitorque is a safety brake that operates through magnetic principles, specifically employing the hysteresis principle.

Magnetic forces are responsible for transmitting torque in a non-contact, synchronized manner from the input side to the output side of the safety clutch. In the event of an overload, the clutch goes into a slipping mode, where the input and output sides move at a relative speed to each other, known as the "slip speed." During an overload, the clutch torque matches the preset torque setting.
