Tsubaki TSB151, TSB152 Shock Relays

The U.S. Tsubaki Shock Relay is designed to closely monitor changes in motor current, providing a reliable indicator of the motor's torque output. In the event that the motor current surpasses the predetermined Load Current threshold for a specified duration of Shock Time (continuous overload time), the Shock Relay takes prompt action by shutting down the motor power supply. 

The TSB151 and TSB152 series Shock Relays offer seamless integration into both new and existing applications. For single or three-phase motors, installation involves wiring the supplied current transformer into one line of the motor and connecting the Shock Relay to the control circuit (stop-start circuit). 

The Shock Relay operates on the same voltage as the control circuit to the motor starter, typically 115V or 230V single phase, and may require a step-down transformer if a different control voltage is utilized. Special considerations are necessary for motor voltages exceeding 600 volts. This comprehensive solution ensures effective motor protection and easy adaptability for diverse applications.
