CENTAFLEX-AGM is a steady-speed driveshaft perfectly suited for linking marine gear output flanges to propeller shafts in applications involving moderate angular deflections. It ensures backlash-free torque transmission, thanks to its double cardanic driveshaft comprising two highly flexible rubber elements.
Designed for marine applications, the CENTAFLEX-AGM efficiently conveys propeller thrust to the boat's hull through a self-aligning thrust bearing. This driveshaft is specifically engineered to reduce noise and minimize vibrations, ultimately leading to reduced wear and tear on nearby equipment.
Engineered to dampen torsional vibrations and handle shock loads, the CENTAFLEX-AGM accommodates angular deflections of up to 3 degrees. Additionally, it offers substantial electrical insulation. Mounting the driveshaft with minimal effort is facilitated by the clamping hub, and the product is delivered ready for straightforward installation and maintenance.
