Chevron TMGL Premium
Chevron TMGL Premium is a black, adhesive, semi-fluid grease designed specifically for the lubrication of traction motor gear cases in diesel-electric locomotives. It features a lithium thickener, a very high viscosity base fluid, and a special extreme pressure (EP) additive system.
This grease is recommended for use in traction motor gear cases with appropriate seal designs that specify semi-fluid grease-type lubricants, older non-sealed traction motor designs that typically use heavy residual-type gear lubricants, and slow to medium speed industrial gear applications where an EP semi-fluid grease is required.
