Cleveland-produced WG series of Worm Gear Reducers are compact-designed, strong-cased devices made of corrosion-resistant cast iron housing. Their seals are against corrosion and prevent contamination from casting. WG Worm Gear Reducers are built for long service life.

Internally cast chevron is placed on sidewalls of worm top styles to direct oil to bearings, improving bearing lubrication and seal life.

The WG worm gear reducer consists of alloy bronze (chill cast bronze) gear, which increases strength and durability.

Four bearing design standard is available, which maintains proper gear mesh and alignment (except for some hollow shaft sizes).
