This innovative disc pack design can handle angular misalignment ranging from 1/2° to 1-1/2° and is implemented across all Lovejoy disc coupling products.

Lovejoy manufactures its disc packs using high-quality stainless steel (AISI-301), ensuring exceptional strength, resilience against fatigue, and resistance to various environmental conditions.

Lovejoy disc couplings feature unitized disc packs with 4, 6, or 8 bolt configurations. While the 8-bolt design can transmit higher torque compared to the 6 or 4-bolt designs, it has limitations in accommodating angular misalignment to the same extent.

For added protection of the disc pack during momentary torsional overloads, Lovejoy couplings can be equipped with overload bushings.
