This innovation delivers greater nominal torque, accommodates larger maximum bore sizes, and extends the overall service life. Remarkably, despite these advanced enhancements, the HercuFlex Gear Coupling maintains compatibility with the standard AGMA flange interface, ensuring easy field interchangeability.

Beyond its unparalleled bore and torque capacity, while still adhering to standard AGMA flange interfaces, notable features include a tolerance for 1.5 degrees of misalignment per gear mesh, the utilization of stronger alloy steel hubs and sleeves (in the FX, CX, and FXL models), improved resistance to fastener corrosion, and an advanced seal design that enhances resistance to contamination.

Furthermore, the hubs and seals used in both the flange and continuous sleeves of the HercuFlex gear coupling designs are identical and interchangeable components. This shared design feature promotes greater efficiency in inventory management for stocking partners.
