Lovejoy Uniflex Coupling

The Uniflex coupling is an all-steel, single-component coupling that effectively resolves various application challenges, such as extensive misalignment, space constraints, elevated temperatures, and exceptionally minimal backlash or windup. Its distinctive flexible center is comprised of three square wire springs wound in opposing directions to accommodate both forward and reverse operation. Subsequently, two steel hubs are brazed to the steel spring assembly, creating a resilient one-piece flexible coupling.

With its flexible triple-wound spring design, the Uniflex coupling is well-suited for managing substantial misalignment, tight spatial conditions, high temperatures, and providing low backlash and windup. Furthermore, it is more compact and lighter compared to most couplings with equivalent torque ratings.

The Uniflex coupling finds applications in a diverse range of settings, including textile equipment, printing and binding registration, robotics and positioning systems, conveyors, carton folding and gluing machinery, machine tools, centrifugal pumps, agricultural equipment, blowers, winding machines, and steering mechanisms.
