Pulleys belonging to the WB series utilize wide variable speed belts to ensure the most efficient transmission of torque across a broad speed range. These pulleys offer the advantage of being two-sided and movable, enhancing belt alignment when paired with a grooved companion sheave. Notably, the positioning of the belt's centerline near the pulley's bore end helps reduce the overhung load on motor bearings and seals. The use of precision-calibrated springs maintains optimal pressure, ensuring proper belt tension and minimizing belt slippage.

WB pulleys are versatile and suitable for use in both adjustable and fixed center drives. They perform exceptionally well when lubricated through a conveniently located grease fitting and are occasionally run through the entire speed range.
