Luff High Speed Spreaders (HSS) are purpose-built for demanding high-speed belt conveying applications, such as portable stone slinging, where traditional idlers often fail. To maintain stability at extreme velocities, the HSS features true shaft concentricity, which effectively eliminates the wobble and belt movement typically generated by high belt speeds. For added safety and durability, these units include a mechanically attached outer cap designed to prevent the rollers from blowing apart under high centrifugal forces. Available in a wide variety of sizes, these spreaders can also be custom-designed to meet the specific requirements of your unique conveying system.
