Magnatrol Strainers
We offer Bronze and Stainless Steel Strainers manufactured by Magnatrol Valve. The strainers are the best solutions to prevent the entrance of pipe chips, scale, rust, pipe dope, welding slag, or sediment into the valve if they are installed close to the inlet side of the valve.
The strainers are well-suited for Cryogenix applications to degrease and clean, keeping them moisture-free. Strainers for Oxygen service are degreased and cleaned then ‘black light’ tested.
Construction
Strainer bodies are designed with screwed ends, allowing for easy installation and connection to piping systems. The screens are made of stainless steel material. Liberal straining area provides for fluid passage at minimum pressure drop. One of the advantages of the strainers is that the screens can be easily removed for cleaning. Strainers are furnished with NPT blow-off connections unplugged.
