Mayr EAS-compact-F Torque Limiters

EAS-compact-F overload clutches effectively disconnect the input from the output with minimal residual torque when an overload occurs, and they stay in this separated state until intentionally re-engaged either manually or by utilizing devices. These clutches are exceptionally well-suited as a protective component for high-speed drive systems and applications with substantial inertia.

In the event that the preset torque limit is exceeded, the clutch disengages promptly, causing an immediate drop in torque. An installed limit switch detects this disengagement motion and deactivates the drive. Furthermore, the signal from the limit switch can be employed for additional control purposes.
