The ROBA-capping head is a safety coupling utilizing magnetic principles rooted in the hysteresis concept. Through magnetic forces, the torque of this torque-limiting clutch is transferred without physical contact, and it maintains synchronicity between the input and output sides. When an overload situation arises, the clutch undergoes a slipping action, where the input and output sides move relative to each other at a specific speed, known as the "slip speed." During an overload event, the clutch torque matches the pre-defined torque setting.
