Mayr ROBA-multiswitch
ROBA-multiswitch fast-acting switching modules serve to establish connections between DC loads and AC power sources, including electromagnetic brakes and clutches (such as ROBA-stop, ROBA-quick, ROBATIC), as well as solenoids, electrovalves, and similar devices.
The ROBA-multiswitch, designed in different sizes, accommodates input voltages ranging from 100 to 500 VAC. Upon activation, it initially provides the rectified bridge voltage for a 50 ms duration before transitioning to a fixed overexcitation voltage that has been preprogrammed. Once the overexcitation time has concluded, it switches to a preprogrammed holding voltage, as detailed in the standard version on page 3. For specialized versions, different values are attainable. The overexcitation time can be configured via a DIP switch to durations of 150 ms, 450 ms, 1 s, 1.5 s, and 2 s.
