Mayr ROBA-switch 24V
ROBA-switch 24 VDC fast-switching modules are utilized to control DC loads with options for overexcitation or power reduction. These loads include electromagnetic brakes and clutches (such as ROBA-stop, ROBA-quick, ROBATIC), as well as solenoids, electro valves, and similar equipment.
The ROBA-switch 24 VDC is specifically designed for an input voltage of 24 VDC. It features an internal switching mechanism that shifts the output voltage from the input voltage (which serves as overexcitation voltage) to the holding voltage. This transition is achieved through pulse width modulation at a frequency of 20 kHz. The module offers flexibility in setting the overexcitation time to intervals of 150 ms, 450 ms, 1 s, 1.5 s, and 2.15 s using a DIP switch.
