Nidec EvoGear Hypoid Gear Reducers

EvoGear series Right-Angle Hypoid Gear Reducer is the new generation of hypoid gearing performance. It combines the efficiency and compactness of the hypoid primary stage with the torque density and low backlash of VRS and VRT series of planetary gear reducers. Tapered roller bearings on the input and output side of the gearbox absorb high radial and axial loads, ensuring long service life. A planetary output is used to achieve very high ratios.

EvoGear comes in 4 output configurations and 17 reduction ratios used in a wide range of applications. The single-stage option is available in ratios up to 15:1 making them suitable for small spacing applications.

• Hypoid input stage with optional planetary output stage. The planetary section includes carburized case-hardened helical gears with a proprietary secondary finishing process for higher accuracy and quiet operation.
