REDEX Andantex Anglgear - Right Angle Gearbox

The AnglGear, known as the original right-angle gearbox drive is a versatile system that facilitates the manual or powered transmission of rotary motion within a standardized and compact right-angle unit.

REDEX Andantex's standard line of bevel gearboxes is readily available in both Inch and Metric Series, featuring single or dual output shafts, 1:1 or 2:1 ratios, and permanent grease lubrication. These gearboxes exhibit a broad operating temperature range, spanning from -65 degrees F to +200 degrees F (-54 degrees C to +93 degrees C). Employing carburized case-hardened Coniflex* bevel gears, all AnglGear units integrate fully enclosed and sealed ball bearings.

Andantex's 90-degree gearboxes feature cast aluminum housings, meticulously machined on our CNC machining center, and are treated with a chemical film for material protection. These units are designed with flanged ends and side bosses, facilitating space-efficient installation across various applications.

For sizes 1, 2, and 3, #416 stainless steel is used for the shaft material. In 2:1 models, the pinion shaft is crafted from carbon steel, while sizes 4 & 5 employ black oxide carbon steel. Upon request, shafts can be customized with special extensions such as flats, splines, holes, or tailored lengths.
