The KRP+ introduces the innovative 'KIT' concept, having output flange mounting and an integrated output pinion that is specifically designed for rack & pinion applications.

KRP+ planetary reducers belong to the SingleDRIVE category within a family of reducers tailored for Rack and pinion and Rotary Table drive applications. They can function independently as a single drive or can be paired with a second unit to create a ZERO-BACKLASH linear or rotary Axis.

In the SingleDRIVE mode, the KRP+ incorporates an integrated output pinion and a planetary gear train meticulously optimized to achieve minimal backlash (ranging from 1 to 3 arc minutes) and the highest STIFFNESS ON RACK.

The DualDRIVE kit combines two KRP+ reducers within a patented, mechanically preloaded ZERO-BACKLASH system. In this closed-loop mechanical setup, the two units are preloaded torsionally against the rack, requiring only one motor to drive the axis.

Alternatively, two KRP+ reducers can be combined in an electrically preloaded TwinDRIVE kit. This setup eliminates backlash by using two motors—one to drive the axis and the other to provide the necessary preload for the axis.
