The distinctive KRPX housing serves a dual purpose as a sturdy machine frame extension. Its accessible side mounting presents an economical, straightforward, and high-performance solution suitable for both linear and rotary axis drives.

When two units are combined with electrical preload, they form a TwinDRIVE system, yielding an exceptionally rigid ZERO-BACKLASH axis. The KRPX housing's design has undergone meticulous optimization through finite element analysis to prevent any deflection during acceleration and while bearing heavy loads. Additionally, the output pinions are directly machined into the output shafts and supported by generously sized, preloaded tapered roller bearings, achieving an ideal balance between transmittable torque and rack stiffness.
