Thomas 54 Series Disc Couplings

We offer S54RD and S54RDG series Disc Couplings produced by Rexnord Thomas that are maintenance-free alternatives to lubricated gear- and grid-style couplings in close-coupled applications, where overall shaft-to-shaft spacing is minimal.

The center member of the 54RDG is split axially, which permits maintenance of the couplings without moving the hubs or the connected equipment. This design allows the removal of the disc packs without moving the connected equipment. The center member is pilot-mounted into the adapter, enabling high-speed potential with a high torque density.
