Torsiflex-I Disc Couplings

The Torsiflex-i disc couplings are specially designed for application in process pumps and various industrial settings. This all-metal disc coupling, known as Torsiflex, eliminates the need for lubrication and incorporates a plug-in feature that facilitates installation and removal without disrupting the alignment of the pump.

• The standard coupling is fully compliant with the specifications outlined in API 610 / ISO 14691.

• The plug-in spacer design allows for convenient installation and removal without disturbing the hubs.

• Inch series hub attachment screws are employed (Metric available upon request).

• A robust disc pack design permits a greater torque load within a more compact coupling, resulting in reduced weight.

• Large bolts enhance clamp load, increase frictional torque load, and decrease bolt bending stress.

• Maximum bores are matched to NEMA motor shafts, leading to substantial weight savings of up to 60% per application.

• Smaller diameter and lower weight per horsepower contribute to better inherent balance.

• ATEX compliance is standard — Exll 2GDc135degC(T4).

• Incorporates a built-in Anti-Flail Feature and features a Zinc Phosphate coating as standard.

• Large hubs are available in the first two sizes.

• Compliance with API 671 / ISO 10441 is an available option.
