Tsubaki BS Series Cam Clutch

The BS Series Cam Clutch products are engineered to allow the inner race to overrun in one direction of operation while engaging the outer race when there is reverse rotation. These BS Series units are commonly used in applications such as incline conveyor systems or pump systems that may encounter reverse rotation due to excessive loading on the pump's discharge side. The BS Series Cam Clutches utilize a cam and roller design that incorporates a low-friction bearing into the cam cage.

A complete Cam Clutch assembly typically consists of the Cam Clutch itself, a torque arm, a shaft key, a shaft end plate, and a safety cover or an oil reservoir. The shaft key comes included with the Cam Clutch, but you can select each additional component individually as needed. For BS30 through BS350 Cam Clutches, grease lubrication is the standard method.
