The MIUS Series Cam Clutch units are specifically engineered for applications involving indexing. In this operational mode, the back-and-forth movement applied to the clutch's driving race is converted into one-directional intermittent motion at the driven race. The clutch propels during the forward stroke (indexing) and freely rotates on the return stroke. When assessing these clutches, it's important to take into account not only their torque capacity but also the frequency of indexing cycles per minute.
