Tsubaki TFS Series Cam Clutch

The TFS Series Cam Clutch is a sprag-type clutch intended for a press-fit installation. Sprag-type designs generally offer greater torque capacity when compared to similarly sized ramps and roller clutches. The TFS Cam Clutch features two vertical keyways on its outer race to aid in positioning.

Its external dimensions align with those of Series 63 ball bearings. This design is well-suited for various inner or outer race overrunning applications. Since the TFS Series does not include a built-in bearing, the typical application involves installing the TFS Cam Clutch alongside a bearing that can handle both axial and radial loads.
