The Autonica BF4RP is a standard-type photoelectric sensor with a red LED emitter at 660 nm. It features a PNP open-collector control output and offers a selectable Light ON or Dark ON operation via an ON/OFF button. It operates from a 12–24 V DC supply with a ripple tolerance of up to 10% and draws up to 45 mA. The sensor provides fast response times of up to 0.5 ms (Frequency 1) and 0.7 ms (Frequency 2), with an OFF Delay timer of 40 ms. Sensitivity is adjustable manually, and the device includes built-in differential frequency interference protection. Ambient illumination tolerance reaches up to 11,000 lx in sunlight and 3,000 lx under incandescent lighting. Operating temperature ranges from -10 to 50°C (storage -20 to 70°C) and humidity from 35 to 85% RH (storage 35 to 85% RH). It self-diagnoses unstable sensing (if the target remains in an unstable level for 300 ms) and also indicates a short-circuit condition in the control output. The load can be up to 30 V DC and 50 mA, with a residual voltage not exceeding 2.5 V. The body uses a heat-resistant ABS case with a polycarbonate cover, and the cable is Ø4 mm, 4-wire, 2 m long with high-density AWG22 conductors. Accessories include a fixing bracket, bolts, and nuts.
