DOWSIL PR-4040 Prime Coat is a clear, silicone-based primer designed to enhance adhesion between silicone sealants and substrates prior to bonding or sealing. Supplied in a 340 g container and packaged as 6x1, this primer is used as a surface treatment to prepare substrates and improve long-term adhesion and sealant performance. It is typically applied before silicone applications, allowing proper drying or curing as directed, and then followed by the appropriate silicone material.
